Altus, Oklahoma

The Altus City Reservoir provides many possibilities for those who like to get away for a few hours and just relax in the idyllic surroundings. Fishing is available year round and the city stocks the two reservoirs with bass, catfish, and others.

There is also a pedestrian walk that covers the 2.1 miles of roadway that surrounds the two bodies of water. Most days the route is lined with tame water fowl from ducks and swans to Canada geese.
